Selling to Latin America becomes easier when buyers understand the price and can complete payment in their language. Mundpay supports working with currencies from countries in South America, Central America and Mexico. Before launching an offer, check the countries, currencies and payment options available for your operation.
One region, different markets
Latin America includes audiences with different habits and purchasing power. A course, coaching program or ebook can attract customers in several countries, but the advertising, offer and customer support need to fit each market.
Start with one country and one offer. Adapt your sales page, explain what customers will receive and test the journey through payment confirmation. Expand after you understand the results.
Local currencies in South America, Central America and Mexico
Mundpay accepts payments in currencies from countries across these regions. This helps you present a familiar price and reduces the need for buyers to convert an amount from Brazilian reais before deciding.
Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru, for example, use different currencies. Central America does not share a single currency either. Check the country, currency and payment method together in your offer’s checkout. Currency support does not mean every local payment method is enabled.
Language is part of the buying experience
Mundpay checkout automatically adapts language and currency. The experience starts before payment: your ad, sales page, product description and support messages also need to match your audience’s language.
Review wording, price formats and instructions for each market. If the product is in Portuguese, make that clear before purchase. Changing checkout language does not translate a course or its materials.
Users spend most of their time on other sites. This means that users prefer your site to work the same way as all the other sites they already know.
How to start selling with Mundpay
Create your offer and choose the first country you want to serve. Check currency settings and available payment methods. Open the checkout for that buyer’s experience and review the price, language, fields and confirmation.
Make delivery details, support contacts and cancellation terms easy to find. For physical products, also confirm that you can ship to the destination. Then send traffic to your offer and monitor orders.
The sale currency and the amount you receive
The currency shown to customers and the settlement or withdrawal currency belong to different stages. Charging in local currency does not automatically mean holding a balance or withdrawing funds in that currency.
Check your dashboard for account terms, fees, applicable conversion and payout timing. Include these costs and customer acquisition costs in your margin calculations before increasing investment.
Track results by country
Monitor checkout visits, approved payments, declines, refunds and support requests for each market. Overall averages can hide a problem in Mexico or a Central American country.
If visits are high but purchases are low, review the offer and payment experience. If declines are high, investigate the recorded reasons. Make changes using your own operating data rather than assuming the same approval rate across the region.
Frequently asked questions
Can I sell to Mexico with Mundpay?
Yes. Mexico is part of the international sales focus of this guide. Check your offer’s currency and available payment methods for Mexican buyers before launching a campaign.
Can I use Mundpay to sell to South America and Central America?
Yes. You can prepare sales to countries in these regions using local currencies. Check country availability and your operation’s settings: currency support and payment method support are different features.
Do I need a different product for every country?
Expansion alone does not require a different product. Adapt the offer, language and delivery terms to each market, and review payment settings.
Do I receive the currency my customer used?
Not necessarily. The charge currency may differ from the settlement and withdrawal currency. Check your dashboard for account terms and applicable conversion.
