How to set up the Google Pixel on Mundpay

If you want to track your conversions with precision and track your traffic campaigns, setting up the Google Ads Pixel is essential. Follow the step-by-step guide below to complete the integration in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Where to find the Pixel area on Mundpay

  1. Access your Mundpay dashboard.
  2. In the sidebar menu, click on Products and select the product you want to configure.
  3. Click on the Pixels tab and then on the Add Pixel button.
  4. Select the Google Ads option.

Note: To complete the configuration on Mundpay, you will need two pieces of information: the Pixel ID and the Conversion API Token. Let's get them from Google Ads in the next step.

Step 2: Creating the Conversion Action in Google Ads

Open your Google Ads dashboard in another tab and follow the path:

  1. In the top/side menu, click on Goals > Conversions > Summary.
  2. Click on Create conversion action (or on the + New button).
  3. Select the category you want to measure (such as Purchase or Initiate Checkout).
  4. Set value settings and click on Create and continue.
  5. On the next screen, choose the Manual setup option and click on Finish.

Step 3: Getting the codes inside Google Ads

After saving your new conversion action, Google will generate the codes we need:

  1. Click on Save and continue and look for the Event Snippet option.
  2. Click on Event Snippet and copy that entire block of code (text) that Google will show you. Paste it temporarily in a text editor for ease.

How to identify the data in the copied code?

  • Pixel ID: It will be located right after the term send_to. It is a code that usually starts with AW- followed by several numbers.
  • Conversion API Token (Label): It is the second part of the code that appears right after the Pixel ID slash (ex: AW-123456789/ABCDE-12345-xyz).

Step 4: Finalizing the installation on Mundpay

Now, go back to the Mundpay tab where the Google Ads window was left open:

  1. In the Pixel ID field, paste your Pixel code (the one that stays next to send_to).
  2. In the Conversion API Token field, paste the corresponding conversion tag/label.
  3. Name your Pixel: Give it a title for internal organization (ex: Google Ads - Main Product).
  4. Activation Environment: Choose where events should fire (ex: Checkout, Thank You Page, etc.).
  5. Click on Save Pixel.

All set! Your Google Ads pixel is installed, configured, and ready to track your events. Time to scale!
