Co-production on Mundpay: Complete Guide and Step by Step
Co-production is the perfect partnership for when two or more people come together to launch or manage a digital product. With it, Mundpay performs automatic commission split on each approved sale, without you needing to make manual transfers at the end of the month.
What you need to know before setting up co-production
- Active Registration: The invited partner must have an active and validated account on Mundpay (with approved registration and banking data) to receive the invitation and their commissions.
- Mandatory Acceptance: Sending the request does not automatically start the split. Commission division only applies to transactions made after confirmation and formal acceptance of the invitation on the co-producer's panel.
- Non-retroactive Effect: Sales made before accepting the invitation are not split and belong 100% to the main producer.
- Calculation on Net Value: The co-producer's commission percentage is calculated on the net sale value (that is, after Mundpay's fee discount).
- Access Level: The co-producer has visibility into sales history and financial reports for the product they are part of, but cannot change prices, product rules, or member area content.
- Chargebacks: Chargebacks generated by the operation are split proportionally among those involved in the transaction.
Important information about the co-production contract
- Term: The partnership can only be registered with an indefinite term.
- Changes to Terms: If the producer changes the division percentage, a new invitation does not need to be generated. The co-producer will receive the new percentage from future sales onwards (post-adjustment).
- Unlinking: Co-production can be terminated at any time by the producer on the platform dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I register more than one co-producer on the same product?
Yes! You can add multiple co-producers to the same product, as long as the sum of distributed percentages respects the total net margin limit of the sale.
How does the division work when there are sales made by Affiliates?
You can choose in settings whether the co-producer's commission will be applied to the total net value or only to the margin that goes to the producer after the affiliate commission is paid.
What happens if the co-producer takes time to accept the invitation?
Sales made during the period when the invitation is "Pending" will not go through commission division. The total net value of these sales will be retained in the main producer's account.
