Every gateway has a risk team. The difference between them lies in the method: some only shut down the account when an indicator blows past its limit, others warn beforehand, explain what triggered the alert, and give a deadline to fix it.

For sellers, this difference is the costliest of all. Automatic blocking means money held and operations stopped with no one to talk to. Review with prior notice means a conversation before revenue stops.

It's worth checking this before choosing the platform, not after: ask who reviews, how fast they respond, and whether there's a human channel.
