This policy explains which data the Mundpay blog collects, why it collects it, who it is shared with and how to ask for deletion. It covers blog.mundpay.com and the Portuguese, Spanish and English versions.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Mundpay operates through four entities, and the controller depends on where you are:

2. What the blog collects

The blog is a content site, not the payments platform. It asks for no signup, charges nothing and receives no card data. What exists here:

Cookie choice and theme. Stored in your browser, in local storage, and they never leave it.
Technical access data. IP address, browser and requested page, logged by the server that delivers the site, for as long as security and operation require.
Chat conversation. If you accept functional cookies and open the chat, what you write and the session identifier are processed by Crisp to answer you.
Video. When you press play on an embedded video, YouTube starts processing your data; before play it runs in no-cookie mode.

Nothing here asks for your name, tax id, phone or bank details. If you open a Mundpay account, that signup is governed by the platform policy, not by this one.

3. Why we process each item

Technical access data and your cookie choice rest on the legitimate interest of keeping the site up and honouring your decision. Chat, analytics and marketing depend on your consent, which you can give, refuse and withdraw at any time without losing access to any content.

We do not sell data. The third parties involved in delivering the site are: Crisp, support chat, only with functional consent; YouTube, embedded video in no-cookie mode; Google Fonts, typography; and the hosting and CDN infrastructure that serves pages and images.

5. International transfer

Because the operation is international, data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, by the entities listed above and by the providers named. In those cases we rely on the safeguards required by the LGPD and the GDPR, including the providers standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Your cookie choice lasts twelve months, then the notice asks again. Technical access logs are kept for the hosting provider retention period, for security. Chat conversations are kept for the duration of the support case and its history.

7. Your rights

You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, portability and deletion of your data, withdraw consent and object to processing. In the European Union you also have the right to restriction and not to be subject to automated decision-making. Send the request to help@mundpay.com and it is answered within the term of the applicable law.

To erase what is in your browser right now, open the cookie preferences in the footer of this page, withdraw consent and, if you wish, clear site data in the browser itself.

8. How to complain

If our answer does not settle the matter, you can contact the data protection authority of your country: the ANPD in Brazil, your member state national authority in the European Union, or the competent body of your state in the United States.

9. Changes to this policy

When the text changes materially, the update date changes and the cookie notice asks for your choice again. See also the cookie policy and the terms of use.
